Amexon Development Corp. is the owner of 480 University Avenue in the City of Toronto. The 480 University Avenue site is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of University Avenue and Dundas Street West. An 18 storey commercial office building, constructed in 1967 currently occupies the site. The site is located within a vibrant area in Toronto’s Downtown in close proximity to Kensington Market, the Chinatown District, the Entertainment and Fashion Districts as well as the Financial District and several of Toronto’s finest medical centres. Gagnon & Law Urban Planners Ltd. was retained to provide land use planning consulting services in connection with a site specific Zoning By-law Amendment. The site is envisaged as a vibrant mixed use development with various attractive architectural elements including but not limited to state-of-the-art glazing and a dramatic three storey podium. The Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment Application has been approved by the City of Toronto.
