Medallion Developments Inc. Bramalea Road and Countryside Drive, Brampton, Ontario

In 2012 Gagnon and Law Urban Planners was retained by Medallion Developments Inc. to project manage the Site Plan Approvals process for a commercial block located at the southwest corner of Bramalea Road and Countryside Drive. Working alongside Mac’s Convenience Stores Inc. and SMV Architects, the site was designed to accommodate a Mac’s service station and convenience store and a separate one-storey retail commercial building. Proposed buildings feature architectural elements including but not limited to glazing, natural stone and brick. Units range in size from 100 – 575 square metres (1,060 – 6,200 square feet). It is expected that the highway commercial development will complement the prevailing residential community and be compatible with adjacent land uses. With Site Plan Approval obtained in the fall of 2013, construction is now complete and units are being occupied.
